Zareba® In-Line Strainer
Too much slack in your electric fence line for it to be truly effective?
Our Zareba® Electric Fence Strainers, used with the strainer handle, increase the tension on the fence wire to about 250 lb. Strainers should be installed every 2,500 feet. They should be located in the middle of a fence span (for example, halfway between two corner posts.)
Every friction point (corners, bends, dips, rises) reduces the strainer's tension capacity by about 500 ft. One strainer can tension wire through no more than two corners.
This Zareba® In-Line Strainer is to be used with 200,000 psi wire.
