Operates on Battery Power
Set up this Zareba® Garden Protection Kit in areas far away from electrical outlets thanks to its battery-powered design. This kit includes a DC powered fence charger that runs on one 6-volt deep-cycle marine battery. We recommend checking the battery once per month or as you monitor your garden. This kit allows expansion of up to 5 miles when you add additional units (sold separately).
Includes All Key Components
You can quickly install this Zareba® Garden Protection Kit as it contains all the key components necessary. String the 250-ft spool of 17-gauge aluminum wire along the 30 inch poly fence posts with clips to corral the area you wish to protect, connect the DC fence charger with the battery, then add the ground rod with clamp attachment to complete the setup. The warning sign lets humans entering your space know to beware, while the fence tester helps ensure operation without risking shock yourself.
Maintenance Tips
Though the DC charger has a weather-resistant protective casing, it works best to install it in areas with minimal elemental exposure. Check the battery on a clearly defined schedule to ensure peak performance and continual protection. We recommend to check about every 30 days.
