ZAREBA® FENCE DOCTOR ADVANCED VOLTAGE TESTER

With the Zareba® Fence Doctor, you can end the frustrating search for problems along your electric fence line. This advanced voltage tester helps you quickly detect open and short circuits. The fence tool’s easy-to-read digital readout will accurately report a voltage range from 200 to 9,900 volts and measure current (amps) as well. When it does sense an amp disruption, indicator arrows point you in the direction of the problem. The Fence Doctor features a heavy-duty ABS plastic case, built-in belt clip and a 1-year warranty.

Open Circuit And Short Circuit Detection

The Zareba® Fence Doctor will help you quickly and accurately detect two common problems on electrical fences. First, it can detect open circuits, which are created when a fence line is broken somewhere. It also detects short circuits, which occur when a fence wire touches the ground, a ground wire breaks or an insulator breaks.

Follow The Fence Doctor Arrows

Your Zareba® Fence Doctor includes a readout that shows the direction of a short. When placed on a fence line (wire, polyrope, polytape or polywire), an arrow will illuminate that points in the direction of the problem. A fault is indicated when the Fence Doctor senses lower-than-normal voltage and higher-than-normal current (amps).

AMP Measurements & Testing The Fault Finder

Another feature on this Zareba® fence tester measures line amps. The amount of voltage and amps that are running through the fence will vary depending on the length of the fence and seasonal conditions, such as vegetation and moisture.

Practice using the Fence Doctor by placing intentional shorts along the fence (such as leaning a shovel against a hot wire). This will allow you to learn how to find the shorts as well as learn the typical voltage and amps that you can expect to see on your fence.

Durable For In-The-Field Use

This fence tester is meant to be a tool you take with you every day. Constructed with heavy-duty ABS plastic, it will withstand the day-to-day stresses of life on the farm. For ease of use, it also has a built-in belt clip.

Accessories to Maintain Your Electric Fence

Zareba® offers a number of helpful tools to help you install and maintain your electric fence. Easily tighten your fence line with the Zareba® Round Strainer Handle. Carry the Multi-Purpose Fence Tool to clip lines, remove staples, attach insulators and twist wire. Install Cut-Off Switches on your hot wires to turn your electric fence on and off while isolating short circuits and performing fence maintenance.
