After landing on the sticky surface, adult moths get stuck and die of dehydration, which stops them before they can continue breeding.

This convenient solution works both as a trap to target active adult moth infestations, while also helping you to monitor new moth activity when an infestation first begins. The trap should be deployed immediately if you see signs of a moth infestation.
Long-Lasting Lure
The Pantry Pest® Pantry Moth Traps come with two lures, lasting up to 3 months each. Each lure is stored in airtight pouches to prevent the attractant from depleting prior to use, so they remain fresh until opened. The lure uses a powerful pheromone to attract adult male pantry moths. When ready to deploy the trap, add the lure to ensure moths will be able to find the trap with ease.
How to Use the Pantry Pest®
Just follow these quick and easy steps to begin trapping and monitoring your moth infestation.
- Place the trap within 10 feet of the infested area, generally where dried foods are stored, including the pantry, kitchen, or garage.
- Choose a spot where the trap will get air circulation but will not be easily disturbed by foot traffic or swinging doors.
- For best results, use one trap per average size room. Use two traps for large rooms, placing them at opposite ends of the room.
- Remove one of the lures from the packet. Drop the lure onto the sticky surface via the circle cutout on the back of the trap.
- Check the pantry moth trap weekly to determine if it is full or excessively dirty.
- Discard when full. To discard, wrap trap in newspaper and dispose in a trash bin.

These moths are small and narrow, averaging ½” long and range in color from coppery brown to mottled gray.
