Safer® Brand Mosquito & Tick Killer is formulated with pyrethrin and potassium salts of fatty acids for use on lawns and turf around homes & home greenhouses. These 2 ingredients work together to kill listed insects on contact.
Pyrethrin attacks insects’ nervous system, paralyzing them to make feeding and movement stop. Potassium salts of fatty acids, which are derived from the natural fatty acids found in animal fats and plant oils, weaken the insect’s protective outer shell, causing them to dehydrate and die.

Apply when insects or signs of their damage appear. Spray evenly, completely coating the surfaces where insects are feeding or resting. Make sure to hit pests directly with the spray. It’s best to apply Mosquito & Tick Killer on cloudy days to avoid spraying plants in full sun.
